About Us

Our Mission

The Junior League of Waco is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving our community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

Empowering Community

The Junior League of Waco is a non-profit organization of women just like you. With more than 600 dedicated members, these women are the driving force behind over

200 programs in our community that make it a healthier, more vital place to live. Junior League members, reflecting a wide range of backgrounds, interests, and professional pursuits, work together to identify unmet needs, forge effective coalitions, and work for change.

Since 1935, the Junior League of Waco has donated millions of volunteer service hours and gifted more than $2 million in direct funding to community involvement projects. Time and time again, the Junior League is among the first of organizations to step up to the plate and tackle the community’s biggest challenges.
