Community Grants
Provisional Project
Does your organization have a project where you could use a group of organized and dedicated volunteers?
The Junior League of Waco is accepting applications for its 2013-2014 Provisional Project. Every year, Junior League Provisional members work on a group project benefiting a local non-profit organization. Recent projects have included creating an herb garden at the HOT Urban Gardening Coalition’s new training farm in East Waco, refurbishing the playground at Talitha Koum, creating a playroom for Compassion Ministries, updating Salvation Army's Sally's House, and creating an autism specialty room at University High School.
Provisional members help to plan and implement projects involving 200-400 volunteer hours. The application can be found here. Applications are due May 31, 2013.
If you have questions or need help determining whether your idea is appropriate for this opportunity, please email researchanddevelopment@juniorleaguewaco.org.
